New Triton Print E-mail

Mitsubishi has released their 2006 dual cab Triton. A few upgrades and a new look cover what is still a fairly average vehicle for towing fifth wheelers. The engine and gearbox aren't great, but on-road handling is pretty much on par with Hilux and Navara. Off-road the Triton wins out. It comes in at a cheaper price tag than Navara and Hilux. Mitsubishi have increased the towing capacity of the Triton range to 2300kgs for all the 4WDs, and 1800kgs for the 2WDs. Unfortunately, due to the swept back design of the cab, we expect it to be almost impossible to get the pin coupling of our fifth wheelers over the rear axle.
