We have been advised by one of our local towing companies that recovering a fifth wheeler with our standard 2 inch pin presents no real problems using their existing gear because they have tow adapters for this pin if the fifth wheeler needed to be towed. However they would usually use a tilt tray truck to pick up the unit and winch it on backwards like any other caravan but using a wooden block under the jacks as skids.
